Biorad PIC (*.pic) |
This format supports monochrome 8 and 16 bit images. It also supports multiple images per file.
This format is a proprietary format created by a Biorad Confocal system. This is NOT compatible with the more common Apple Macintosh PICT picture format even though it uses the PIC extension. This format is supported for compatibility reasons and should not be used as your primary file format. We recommend using the TIFF format for all images originating in Eclipse.
Supported Modes:
16-bit grayscale
8-bit grayscale
