Northern Eclipse Help Reference

Cascade

This function arranges all normal (non-minimized) windows so that each image is positioned slightly below and to the right of the previous image.

Notes: This function is used to organize the image windows that are open on screen.  If any window is currently maximized, it will be restored to normal by the Cascade function.  Note that it does not affect minimized windows. Each image is placed slightly below and to the right of the previous image.  The first image starts in the upper left-hand corner of the main Eclipse window.  Once a fixed number of images have been “cascaded”, it restarts at the upper left-hand corner and continues until all images have been cascaded.  Since Windows animates this process, cascading many images can take some time to complete. Once the images are cascaded you should be able to see the caption, system menu, and a vertical strip of every image window as long as the cascading process has not wrapped around and started over from the top-left corner.
