 Manual Count

Manual Count is a simple counting function, which is useful when automatic counting through segmentation (thresholding) is next to impossible.

To use this function, load or capture an image and then Click on the Manual Count icon.  The following menu will appear:

Next, start clicking the left mouse button on the objects of interest. They will be numbered in order of the mouse clicks.

After counting all objects of interest, the count value may be logged to a spreadsheet such as Excel by clicking on Log to DDE. To clear the numbers off of the image prior to starting the next count, click on Clear. To change the color or markings of the current counts on an image, or to make marking changes for the next count, go to the Selection, then Object Marker section of the options page.

Note: There is an application called ManCount available from our Web site at www.empix.com/ftp/mancount.zip
