This tool is used to overlay one image onto another. This image can be an image currently loaded, a live or integrated window from a camera, or an Acquire Loop window. The current image is used as the base window for the montaging.
There are predefined positions that you can use when making montages of 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4. Alternatively, you can use the mouse and select on the image where the center of the image should be placed. You can fine-tune it with the x and y position scroll bars.
If the image to be montaged is a different type, than the base image then the image is converted to the proper type when you select “Stamp”.
In order for the Live, Integrate, and Acquire Loop to function, the corresponding toolbar function must be available. You should test this before running this function.
