This function performs morphological and densitometric measuring of the current image and presents the data in the Data Results window. Thresholding should take place prior to measuring (see thresholding) if object measurements are required. Use the Data Options page to determine how this command handles user defined regions. If “Cut By Selection” has been selected, the user defined regions will be measured. Otherwise, they are used as selection criteria.
