This function creates a new image with the contents of the clipboard. The image may have derived from any program that placed it in the clipboard (including Northern Eclipse). This is the standard Windows method for programs to exchange images. Note that due to the general nature of the clipboard, only the image data itself is copied. Any associated data is lost. Also, image conversion is necessary for image formats that the clipboard does not support. With multi-layer images, only the current layer is copied to the clipboard.
