Image Information |
This function is used to enable or disable the Image Information window. The Image Information window is used to show image characteristics such as image name, filename, size, zoom factor, and image type.
If the image has a palette or is grayscale then the palette is displayed as a gradient along the bottom of the image. The Palette box is empty for images that are 24 or 48 bit color. This feature is necessary if you need to create a new image that is compatible with the current image. You can enter these values directly into the New Image Dialog Box.
The Menu Item will have a check next to it if it is currently visible. Since it is a floating window, it can
be positioned anywhere without decreasing the screen real estate available for
images. It will cover any images
below it however so for very large images you may need to turn this window off.
